The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between ethical leadership perception and job satisfaction among sports managers. The research was conducted using the relational survey model, one of the quantitative research methods. The study group consists of 153 sports managers working in sports clubs operating in Konya, Türkiye. Data were collected using the Ethical Leadership Scale (ELS) developed by Brown et al. (2005) to measure ethical leadership perception and the Job Satisfaction Survey (JSS) developed by Spector (1985) to determine job satisfaction levels. Descriptive statistics and Pearson correlation analysis were applied in the analysis of the data. The findings indicate that sports managers’ ethical leadership perceptions (M = 3.84) and job satisfaction levels (M = 3.67) are at a moderate–high level. The results of the correlation analysis revealed a positive and significant relationship between ethical leadership and job satisfaction (r = .62, p < .001). These findings show that as the perception of ethical leadership increases, the level of job satisfaction also increases. This result is consistent with previous studies reported in the literature. The findings suggest that ethical leadership practices in sports clubs play an important role in increasing employee satisfaction. Encouraging ethical behavior among sports managers may provide significant contributions to organizational performance and employee commitment. This study provides an empirical contribution to the sport management literature in the context of the relationship between ethical leadership and job satisfaction.
